Retro Goldmine: Tubi Scores Massive Cartoon Titles coming this March

Nostalgia lovers, it’s time to update your watchlists. While major streamers have been busy pruning their libraries, Tubi is doing the opposite. Starting March 1, the free, ad-supported streaming giant is officially becoming the ultimate destination for animation fans by adding over 100 classic series from the Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., and Hanna-Barbera vaults.

The "Max" Exodus Ends Here
For the past couple of years, fans have watched in frustration as Max (formerly HBO Max) scrubbed dozens of beloved animated titles from its platform. Tubi is stepping into the gap, offering a "no-cost" home for the shows that defined generations. The internet’s reaction has been swift and celebratory, with "Tubi Rules" trending alongside memes of fans migrating to the platform.

From Cult Classics to Heavy Hitters
The lineup is a massive mix of Saturday morning staples and cult favorites. We’re seeing the return of the "Big Three" of the late 90s: Dexter’s Laboratory, Ed, Edd n’ Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Supernatural and DC fans are also getting a win with Static Shock!, Justice League, and even the rare Supernatural: The Anime Series. Perhaps most surprising is the return of the sketch-comedy show MAD, which hasn’t been easily accessible on streaming for nearly 12 years!

The Massive Arrival List
Here is just a taste of the 100+ titles dropping on March 1:
The Modern Classics: The Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Codename: Kids Next Door, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

The DC Vault: The Batman, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Legion of Super Heroes, Krypto the Superdog.

Hanna-Barbera Legends: The Yogi Bear Show, Captain Caveman, Jonny Quest, Top Cat, Wacky Races.

The Looney Tunes Family: Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, Duck Dodgers, Baby Looney Tunes.

Animated Spin-offs: The Mask, Beetlejuice, Dumb & Dumber, The Dukes of Hazzard.

Why This Matters
Tubi’s move signals a shift in the streaming wars. By securing these legacy titles, they aren't just providing "free TV"—they are preserving animation history that was at risk of falling into digital limbo. Tubi has also teased that this is just the beginning, with more additions hinted for later in the year.

Get the cereal bowls ready, Saturday morning cartoons are officially back.
