The nightmare is returning to where it all began. Capitalizing on the hype surrounding HBO’s highly anticipated prequel series, Mezco Toyz has officially opened pre-orders for the LDD Presents IT: Welcome to Derry – Pennywise collectible doll.
This gruesome new addition to the Living Dead Dolls line swaps out his standard look for a heavily stylized, blood-drenched appearance inspired by the ancient evil haunting the town of Derry. Standing at 10 inches tall with 5 points of articulation, this premium doll beautifully merges the iconic, creepy LDD aesthetic with the cinematic terror of Stephen King's universe.
Gory Details & Screen-Accurate Design
Mezco Toyz's design team has dialed up the horror elements for this prequel iteration:
- Blood-Splattered Wardrobe: Pennywise arrives wearing his signature vintage clown suit, complete with intricate ruffled detailing on the collar and cuffs. The entire outfit is covered in fresh, dark red blood splatters from his latest subterranean encounter.
- Chilling Portrait: Features bright, sinister yellow eyes, molded orange hair, and a wide, malevolent grin showing off his sharp teeth.
- Iconic Accessory: The Dancing Clown wouldn't be complete without his primary hunting tool—a single, eerie red balloon that fits perfectly into his hand.
- Collector Packaging: True to the LDD Presents line, he comes safely tucked away inside a signature, theme-printed die-cut window box that is absolutely perfect for inbox displays.
