The Millennium era's ultimate high-speed aerial terror is officially joining the articulation market. Hiya Toys has officially opened global pre-orders for the highly anticipated EXQUISITE BASIC Series Megaguirus (2000) action figure!
Following their recent green-skinned Godzilla 2000 variant, this massive announcement marks the debut of the dragonfly kaiju queen. It gives fans a screen-accurate, multi-jointed alternative that completely trumps older vinyl figures.
Aggressive Insectoid Textures & Massive Wingspan
Measuring approximately 24.5 cm (9.65 inches) long from the sharp spikes on its head down to the tips of its venomous tail stinger, this figure perfectly replicates the biomechanical design from Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. The structural sculpt delivers an absolute masterclass in creature texturing, mimicking jagged armor plating, layered chitinous spikes, and complex insectoid skin folds across the legs and mandibles.
The standout engineering highlights of this flying horror include:
- Layered Gradient Wings: The expansive wings feature finely layered insect textures painted with a dark body wash and smooth, brown-gold metallic gradients to capture her distinct cinematic shimmer.
- Vivid Red Abdomen Details: The compound eyes and the terrifying ribbed underbelly are highlighted with sharp crimson tones to look incredibly menacing under display shelf lighting.
- High-Speed Aerial Articulation: Engineered with multiple points of articulation across the wings, limbs, and multi-segmented stinger, the figure can flatten its body into a full-speed glide or hook forward into diving grapple poses!
Fully Equipped for Flight Displays
You won't have to worry about balancing a giant bug on its tiny insect legs. True to the aerial nature of the character, the EXQUISITE BASIC Megaguirus comes packaged with a customized translucent display base. The clear flight arm grips securely around her torso, allowing you to pose her hovering high over your miniature cityscapes or locked in mid-air combat loops against your Godzilla figures.

The manufacturing lines have officially started operations, and the reservation queue is open. The figure carries an official base retail MSRP of $89.99 USD, scaling up to a standard US release price of $107.99 USD (including initial US import tariffs).
